Our core beliefs are derived solely from the divinely inspired and inerrant Holy Scriptures contained in the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments:
- There is only one true, spiritual, living and invisible God who created all things;
- This God has existed in three distinct persons from all eternity as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit;
- God directly created the first man, Adam, upright and in His own image;
- Adam, as the head of the human race, sinned and thereby brought the entire human race into a state of guilt, bondage to sin, separation from God, disinheritance, misery and death in all of its dimensions;
- Out of infinite grace and mercy and in fulfillment of four thousand years of prophecies and promises, God sent His eternal Son to be the savior of the world of lost sinners and the only mediator between God and men;
- Through conception in the womb of the virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit, the eternal Son became fully human forever as the sinless God/man, the Lord Jesus Christ;
- In the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, Jesus Christ was put to death on a Roman cross as a blood atonement for the sins of men about the year 30 AD;
- Jesus Christ rose from the dead after three days and forty days later ascended bodily into heaven to sit at God's right hand having all rule and authority in heaven and on earth;
Through genuine repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, any human being can have every sin forgiven, be born of the Holy Spirit, and be raised to eternal life at the last day.
