Sodom is the biblical example of and measuring rod for wickedness. God is the righteous judge and judged the wicked men of Sodom from heaven in righteous wrath. Sodom is the beacon set forth in the rest of the bible of righteous wrath and judgement against sin, pride, fornication, and homosexuality.
