Progressive Christianity presents itself as a more honest, modern, and compassionate faith, but its root claim is ancient: that this Book is not finally God’s Word and that we are the authority... just like the serpent in the garden asking "did God really say?" Scripture warns that such teachers introduce destructive heresies, malign the way of truth, and bring swift judgment on themselves. As believers, we must handle the Word rightly, refuse itching-ear teaching, and remain convinced that God has truly spoken in the scriptures.
