The New Testament epistles repeatedly warns that false teachers will secretly introduce destructive heresies that deny the Lordship of Christ and His coming judgment, deceiving many and creating factions within the church. Believers must guard what they take in, love the truth of God's word, and reject those who refuse sound doctrine. Only by knowing the Scriptures do we find safety in the truth, freedom from man-made burdens, and growth in the pure gospel of grace.
