Modern Day False Prophets: Biblical Tests from Deuteronomy 18

There are clear biblical tests for true and false prophets given in Deuteronomy 18:18-22 and reinforced in 2 Peter 2:1. God protects His people by exposing those who speak presumptuously in His name, blend His truth with other gods through syncretism, or issue predictions that fail to come to pass. These ancient standards can be applied to the modern claims of new apostolic and prophetic offices, particularly within the New Apostolic Reformation; the church of Jesus Christ must reject extra-biblical revelation and hold fast to the sufficiency of Scripture.
