Suffering in the Christian life is not strange. You are experiencing the same path and have fellowship with your Lord Jesus as you walk through suffering, which helps you to know Him more.
This deeper knowledge of Christ is the goal, and therefore you can rejoice as long as you suffer. Your rejoicing in suffering now ensures that you will rejoice at the revelation of Jesus Christ when He comes.
