According to Jesus' own teaching, Jonah’s 3 days and nights in the belly of the fish is a type of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. Jesus is greater than Jonah, and he is calling you, every man, woman, and child to repent and believe the gospel. No other sign is needed-the resurrection is sufficient to testify of God’s approval of Christ’s sacrifice for our justification.
