Why would we choose to entertain ourselves or our children with abominable things such as witchcraft, for which the LORD drove out the nations before His chosen people Israel? We ought not call evil good and good evil.
Just as God raised up prophets in the Old Testament, we do not vote men into the Christian Ministry. Jesus raises up, calls, equips, and gives apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds and teachers by His Holy Spirit for the work of the ministry (Eph 4:11-12), and we as the church recognize these men, ensuring they meet the qualifications laid out by Paul and laying hands on them to appoint them for the office.
-God raises up and appoints prophets and teachers, not men
-These prophets and ministers are for the benefit of God’s people
-Inspiration: NOT of the writers but of the writings
-Prophecy: “I will put my words in his mouth” (not in your mind to say what you want). “Speak ALL that I command him “
