Aliens, Elect Exiles

As believers in this world, we are aliens and exiles.  Why?

• Elect-chosen, selected, specifically called out, to the exclusion of others, motivated by eternal love, brings hatred from the world, and God is happy with His choice of you because he really wanted you!
• According to the foreknowledge of God the Father-5 times in NT (Acts of cross, 1 Pet 1:20 of Jesus himself, 3 of individuals to be saved), relationship of intimate knowing, not simply intellectual or mechanical
• How do you get in? You are responsible according to the Bible to:
  • Flee the wrath to come
  • Save yourselves
  • Turn away from all your hopes and your own righteousness and call upon the Lord!!
  • Seek the Lord while He May be found
