What is the best translation of this phrase?
“Your reward shall be very great” - reward for previous refusal to keep the worldly wealth of Sodom; Abraham still has no biological heir v2
Justification by faith is not the entirety of the scriptures, it is the only way of salvation, by grace through faith. Then there are things you do, works, holiness, witness, and seeking God! God rewards this who seek Him and desire to be obedient to the Lord and His commandments.
Rewards come as an effect of service, effort, achievement.
“I am your very great reward” - God himself is Abram’s reward

-He does so Gladly
-He does so Infinitely
-He does so Eternally
