Jesus and Peter clearly give us our primary hermeneutic, our first principle of interpretation of the Old Testament, how we ought to read the Old Testament: the focus is on the sufferings of Christ and subsequent glories.

All nations are blessed, according to God’s promise to Abraham, through Jesus the Messiah, and he calls us his brethren, the seed of Abraham.
