God has a burden (better translation of the word “oracle” in v1) that he wants Malachi to communicate to Israel. God has expectations that accompany the riches of his love lavished upon you.
Issues God has with Israel:
1. V2 They have utterly devalued and despised the love of God
2. V6 They present dishonorable sacrifices
We must serve Jesus if we are going to be honored by God!
