We live the way of a believer, acting upon that beloved and sound doctrine, by looking for the blessed hope of Christ's appearing in his great glory at his second coming. Jesus Christ's sacrifice had a two-faceted purpose: to bring us out of sin and the world and also to cleanse us for the Lord's use. Meditating on these truths is what will sustain and motivate us to live as the Lord's purchased children and bondservants.
