Breakfast, Church History & Life Chain

Brothers & Sisters,

Another Sunday is upon us and we have some great opportunities for you to serve the Lord, fellowship, and be a light in a dark world.

1. We have some excellent breakfast leftovers from the Men's Breakfast for those of you that will come early to Sunday School. Breakfast will be ready to go by 9:20, so come early for some great food and teaching time.

2. Sunday School's topic will be Christ & Culture, how the early church answered the questions of being "in the world, but not of the world." We'll learn about Tertullian's famous statement, "What has Athens to do with Jerusalem? What has the Academy to do with the church?..." and see how two early church leaders dealt with a Christianity that emerged in the world around it.

3. Finally, perhaps most importantly, we will be participating in Life Chain this year. Life Chain is a national day of prayer and advocacy for the unborn. Christians across the country meet on the busiest road in each major city, hold signs and pray for the unborn and an american culture that devalues life in favor of "choice."

Time: 2:00pm
Location: Woodruff Road, in the upper part of Staples parking lot (away from the store)
About: We will meet there, distribute signs, spread out, pray and hold them for about 1 hour.

This is a great opportunity for you to be a light and testimony for the things God cares about. I hope to see you all tomorrow.
